The City of Vinita is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Firefighter. All applicants must be between the ages of 18-44, possess a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. EMR and FF-1 not required, but preferred, and must be obtained prior to completion of a 12-month probationary period. Applicants will be required to successfully pass a physical agility test, written exam, and Oklahoma Firefighter Pension System Physical Examination. Starting annual salary for probationary Firefighter is $39,338.16 with EMT-B $40,063.66.
